The number of accidents, injuries and fatalities is expected to be higher than in the previous year. In 2021, the volume of traffic was significantly lower due to the corona pandemic.

Compared to the pre-Corona year 2019, the number of accidents, injuries and fatalities is likely to have decreased further. In 2021, 443 people died on Bavaria's roads, including 7 children. 56,683 people were injured, 9,803 of them seriously.
