Bavaria: Man is abandoned on the Autobahn and goes to sleep

Kirchdorf (dpa / lby) - A heavily drunk 28-year-old slept on the shoulder of the Autobahn 93 in Lower Bavaria after he was dumped there by his girlfriend. The two are said to have argued in the car after going to a disco together on Sunday morning, a police spokesman said. The 22-year-old driver then kicked out her boyfriend near Kirchdorf (Kelheim district). According to police statements, he "allowed himself a break" on the hard shoulder and then alerted the officials at the next emergency telephone. The 22-year-old now has to answer for the suspension.
