Bavaria: Students are said to have seriously injured opponents

Markt Indersdorf (dpa / lby) - In a dispute on Shrove Monday in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau, a young man suffered life-threatening injuries. The police arrested a 17-year-old student as a suspect. He was taken into custody, as the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North announced on Wednesday.

In the parking lot of an S-Bahn station in Markt Indersdorf, there was a dispute between three men at night. In the course of this, a 21-year-old suffered a life-threatening neck injury, a police spokesman said. The victim was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The man had had an emergency operation, but is now out of danger.

The investigation led to the 17-year-old, who fled immediately after the crime. He was arrested a little later near the scene of the crime. He is being investigated on suspicion of attempted manslaughter.
