Aschaffenburg (dpa / lby) - Due to a technical defect in a substation, the power went out in the Aschaffenburg district for around two hours. The villages of Bessenbach, Hösbach and Goldbach were affected, as the district fire inspection announced on Sunday. It was initially unclear how many people were temporarily without electricity on Saturday.
During the power outage, a traffic accident occurred at an intersection in Hösbach - according to the fire inspection, the traffic light had failed and two cars collided. The drivers were looked after by the emergency services, but further treatment in the hospital was not necessary.
