Regensburg (dpa / lby) - The test match of SSV Jahn Regensburg against the Austrian first division club SV Ried scheduled for this Friday has been cancelled. As the Bavarian second division soccer team announced on Wednesday, the pitch in Regensburg is not playable due to the freezing temperatures. The first test of strength for Regensburg during the long winter break is the test against SpVgg Bayreuth on January 8th.
The last training days before the Christmas break, the Upper Palatinate also have to complete without goalkeeper Dejan Stojanovic (metatarsal bone split off) and midfielder Christian Viet (external ligament tear). Jahn is missing both for several weeks.
