Bavaria: woman falls in rescue attempt and dies

Sinzing (dpa / lby) - A 75-year-old woman fell several meters during a rescue operation in the Regensburg district and died. She was taken from her apartment in Sinzing on Friday evening with a turntable ladder, the police said on Saturday. It was initially unclear how the fall happened. The police were also initially unable to say why the woman had to be rescued. Now the police are investigating.
