Bavaria: young cyclist hit by car: driver flees

Rain (dpa / lby) - A driver in Swabia hit a young cyclist and injured her slightly - then he fled. The 18-year-old was riding her bike in Rain (Donau-Ries district) on Thursday when the driver ignored her right of way and hit her. The woman fell to the ground and lay unconscious for a few minutes. However, she was able to go to the hospital on her own, where she had to spend one night in the hospital. The driver faces a hit-and-run report.
