Regensburg (dpa / lby) - SSV Jahn Regensburg must initially make its way out of the earnings crisis without Scott Kennedy. The sports court of the German Football Association suspended the 25-year-old central defender for two league games for unsportsmanlike conduct. When the second division soccer team lost to Darmstadt 98 on Saturday, Kennedy was sent off the field in the 22nd minute after an unnecessary emergency brake.
Kennedy will miss the Jahn in the important home game against Arminia Bielefeld and away at 1. FC Nürnberg. The Oberpfälzer only got one point from the last five games, the advantage over the bottom of the table Magdeburg is two points.
