Bayern: Bonhof: "No worries" about FC Bayern dominating again

Mönchengladbach (dpa / lby) - Borussia Mönchengladbach's Vice President Rainer Bonhof considers fears of a renewed Bundesliga dominance of FC Bayern Munich to be premature. "No, I'm really not worried," said the 1974 world champion in an interview with the news portal "t-online" (Friday). "There is no need for me yet, now I don't know what to conjure up."

The supposed Bayern main competitor Borussia Dortmund after the recent setback against promoted Werder Bremen as well as RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen after their false starts would still make "corrections". Bonhofs Borussia will compete on Saturday (6.30 p.m. / Sky) as second in the traditional duel with the previously sovereign leader from Munich. "We're looking at ourselves, we've got seven points now. That's nice, but nothing more. We still have 31 matchdays ahead of us and should therefore all leave the church in the village," said Bonhof.
