While some suspect that Heard would like to take a break from Twitter after the dispute with ex-husband Johnny Depp, others are wondering whether the takeover of Elon Musk could be behind it. Heard and Musk split in the summer of 2017 after a brief liaison. After that, they gave the relationship another chance, but luck broke again.
The entrepreneur and the actress met on the set of 'Machete Kills' in 2013, in which Heard starred and Musk only had a cameo.
