Energy: State capital Schwerin plans for the gas emergency

The city of Schwerin is currently collecting data on the energy supply from operators of the so-called critical infrastructure in order to be prepared for a supply bottleneck. "At the moment, our civil protection experts are determining the needs and planning, among other things, measures for civil protection, averting danger, securing the critical infrastructure and the ability of the city administration and utility companies to work," said Bernd Nottebaum, head of the regulatory department, on Monday. This is based on forecasts by the Federal Government and the Federal Network Agency.
