'Forgive Hitler Today': Kanye West Calls on Jews to 'Let Go'

Kanye West has been in a downward spiral for quite some time. The bipolar US rapper repeatedly causes criticism with right-wing and anti-Semitic conspiracy myths. In an interview with two well-known right-wing extremists, the 45-year-old now goes one better.

Not even a week ago Kanye West caused a stir in an interview with right-wing conspiracy ideologist Alex Jones by praising Adolf Hitler. Now the US rapper is talking to Gavin McInnes, the founder of the extreme right-wing resistance group "Proud Boys", and the well-known anti-Semite and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes. He demands that the Jewish people "forgive" Hitler today.

In the 45-minute clip, which is available on alt-right video platform Censored.TV and quoted by various US media, West's face is covered with a black mask. Among other things, the 45-year-old brags that the reactions to his previous interview were "great for a presidential campaign". As in the last US election campaign, the bipolar rapper wants to run for election in 2024. During his tenure, "the country's rules would be based on the Bible," he says, according to Rolling Stone. "We will align the constitution with the Bible."

He then held the Jews responsible for Hitler's "reputation" and compared abortions to "genocide". He also reiterates his claim that "Jewish people control the majority of the media, along with banks, along with real estate, along with shopping malls." He adds, "You can control the narrative. History is made by the winners." In an excerpt of the interview, available on Reddit, West said, "Jews can't tell me who I can and can't love. You can't force your pain on everyone else. Jewish people: Forgive Hitler today. Let go. Good night."

Because of West's anti-Semitic comments, several companies, including Adidas, have already told Gap they "love" Hitler and the Nazis. "This guy (...) invented autobahns and the microphone that I used as a musician," he explained. "You can't say out loud that this person has ever done anything good, and I don't take it anymore." Kim Kardashian's ex-husband previously caused a stir with a "White Lives Matter" t-shirt.
