When asked by the model if she was bare in her shots, the Australian - whose real name is Amethyst Kelly - replied: "Yes. I don't show a vagina but there are boobs and there are butts and I'm naked." Onlyfans allowed her to take back control of how her body was marketed for record sales. On the site, users upload explicit content for a subscription fee, the profits belong exclusively to themselves.
Azalea also gave the reasons for her account: "I made a lot of people rich with my body and got the smallest share of my own damn body and my own work and my own ideas," she explained. She had become a "commodity" but "wasn't even the main beneficiary of it" - "so fuck it!"
