Hesse: 27-year-old man was critically injured in a dispute in Gießen

Gießen (dpa / lhe) - A man was fatally injured with a knife in downtown Gießen. The police announced this early Wednesday morning. Rescue workers took the 27-year-old victim to a clinic. Before that, shortly before midnight, there had been an argument in which, according to initial findings, four or five people were involved. One then fled, said a police spokesman on request. A larger police force is being sought after the fugitive. The background to the crime and other details, such as the relationship between those involved, were initially unknown.
