Aßlar (dpa / lhe) - The police are investigating after the violent argument between two groups with several injuries in Aßlar (Lahn-Dill-Kreis) because of an attempted homicide. A 53-year-old man from Wetzlar suffered a stab wound to his upper body during the altercation, the Wetzlar public prosecutor and the Lahn-Dill police department announced on Tuesday in Dillenburg.
The man was operated on in the hospital and his condition is stable. The other injured were also taken to hospitals. According to the police, there were several arrests. On Monday evening, the investigators had spoken of six injuries and six arrests. The investigations into the background to the dispute between the two groups with a total of around ten people are still ongoing.
