Frankfurt (dpa/lhe) - After finding a critically injured 59-year-old in Frankfurt's old town, the police are investigating an attempted homicide. Passers-by discovered the victim bleeding heavily on Sunday night and called for help, the police said. In the hospital, several puncture marks were found in the upper body of the 59-year-old, including in the lungs.
The drunk victim only remembers walking after visiting a pub, the police said. The man has severe memory gaps. The Frankfurt murder commission is looking for witnesses.
