Viernheim (dpa/lhe) - Due to renovation work, the Autobahn 6 at the Viernheimer Dreieck will be closed the weekend after next in the direction of Saarbrücken. Autobahn GmbH announced on Thursday that the stretch between the Autobahn triangle and Mannheim-Sandhofen would not be passable from Saturday (November 12) from 6 p.m. to Monday (November 14) at 5 a.m.
Detours are signposted. According to the information, drivers from the south will be guided from the Viernheimer Dreieck via the U46 diversion to the A67. Drivers coming from the north should also follow the U46 detour.
Anyone who wants to avoid the closure over a wide area can switch from the A6 to the A61 at the Hockenheimer Ring. At the Frankenthal motorway junction you can drive back onto the A6.
