Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - After a long break due to corona, the Frankfurt Museum Embankment Festival is returning. More than a million people are expected from today through Sunday. According to the organizers, there are 400 individual events ranging from music to dance, workshops, guided tours and exhibitions.
400 stands and 14 stages will be set up along the Main. 24 museums open their doors, anyone who buys a button for seven euros can visit the houses for the entire weekend.
The traditional dragon boat race takes place on Saturday, followed by the music fireworks on Sunday. Guest of honor this year is the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. In the past two years, the Museumsuferfest had been canceled due to the pandemic.
