The woman died as a result of a stab wound, said the Fulda public prosecutor and the police. This was the result of an autopsy on Friday. The woman was injured with multiple stabs. The suspect is the 20-year-old son of the woman's partner. He was arrested on Wednesday evening and brought before a magistrate on Thursday afternoon. He was then placed in a psychiatric clinic.
