Hesse: dead from downtown Kassel: police start calling witnesses

Kassel (dpa/lhe) - Almost four weeks after the alleged violent death of a man in downtown Kassel, the investigators published an appeal for witnesses. The poster shows, among other things, a photo of the 55-year-old and a description of the location. According to their own information, the public prosecutor and the police are hoping for clues to the still unknown perpetrator on Thursday.

The man was found unconscious on September 17 in the forecourt of the Lutheran Church. He was taken to a hospital where he died from severe head injuries. The autopsy revealed evidence of a homicide. The 55-year-old last lived in a refugee facility.
