Offenbach (dpa/lhe) - People in Hesse can look forward to mild and mostly rain-free autumn weather at the start of the week. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), Monday will be sunny in the morning after the last patches of fog have cleared. In the afternoon it could become increasingly cloudy and rain in the north-west of the country in the evening. The maximum temperatures are between 16 and 18 degrees. In southern Hesse it can even get up to 20 degrees warm and at high altitudes the temperatures are 13 to 16 degrees. In the night to Tuesday, the DWD expects some rain again, it will be very cloudy.
On Tuesday and Wednesday the weather will remain dry but a little cooler with maximum temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees and around 11 to 12 degrees in the higher mountains. According to DWD information, it can be cloudy at times in the south on Tuesday, and it will be generally clear in the afternoon.
