Limburg/Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - A police patrol car collided with a car during an operation. A police officer, his passenger and the 63-year-old driver of the car were injured, as the police headquarters in Wiesbaden announced on Friday. The collision on Thursday in Limburg caused an estimated damage of around 18,000 euros.
According to the information, the patrol car with flashing lights and siren overtook a number of vehicles waiting at a closed level crossing. The 63-year-old pulled his car out of the line just as the police car drove past him. The police initially did not say the age of the two injured officers.
