Hesse: U20 national player Steck extended at Frankfurt

Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) - Madeleine Steck has extended her contract with the women's Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt by two years until the summer of 2024. The Hessians announced this on Wednesday. The 20-year-old defender has been playing on Main since 2018 and made the leap into the Bundesliga team in 2020. Overall, the U20 national player, who has mostly played in the reserves in the 2nd division, made seven appearances in the Bundesliga for the Champions League qualifier. In August, Steck is set to captain the U20s at the World Cup in Costa Rica.
