Hesse: Unknown beat 24-year-olds after visiting a disco

Kassel (dpa/lhe) - Several unknown perpetrators attacked and beat up a 24-year-old man in Kassel on Sunday morning. As the police reported on Monday, a previously unknown man had asked the 24-year-old for a cigarette after visiting a disco. After giving him a cigarette, the 24-year-old was hit on the back of the head and passed out, the victim told police about the incident. When a witness became aware of the incident and intervened, the four perpetrators fled, according to the police. The 24-year-old was taken to hospital with serious head injuries and knocked out teeth. The police are now looking for witnesses who saw the crime.
