Hollywood star Ezra Miller faces charges of burglary and theft. On Monday (local time) the actor in the US state of Vermont pleaded "not guilty", as reported by US media. According to CNN, the next hearing in the case is scheduled for January.

The charges stem from an incident in May. According to the police in Stamford, Vermont, Miller is said to have broken into a neighboring house and stolen several bottles of alcohol. After an investigation, which also included surveillance videos and testimonies, the US actor was charged.

Miller has recently made negative headlines again and again. He was arrested several times for rioting, assault and burglary. In March, he ran into trouble with the law for disturbing the peace at a bar in Hawaii. In addition, the actor is said to have manipulated a teenager. In August, Miller said he was seeking treatment for mental health issues. He had gone through a serious crisis and wanted to apologize for his behavior, the actor said in a statement.
