Loudmouth snubs Jauch: "Biggest eggs that have ever sat on the chair"

In the hunt for three million euros, Jauch becomes suspicious. The mustachioed IT guy puts on such a show that he senses ambition: "The man is sawing on my chair." With testicle chatter and love confusion, Jauch finally fits.

How big Lukas Körber's reproductive organs really are, fortunately remained a secret for the viewers. The ego of the IT consultant with the mustache and baseball cap definitely went beyond the scope of what Günther Jauch said in "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" (WWM) deems appropriate. Rarely has the RTL moderator rolled his eyes as sincerely as on Tuesday evening, day two of the three million euro week (also available on RTL). At first he found the candidate quite amusing. With his testicle litany, however, Jauch switched to foreign shame mode. Before that, he made himself an unprecedented lapse.

The 32-year-old candidate from Mühlheim an der Ruhr has been with his partner for 14 years, whom he has known since kindergarten. Somehow, however, Körber had the suspicion that his sweetheart was hiding something from him. Because Jauch persistently asked about an ex with whom his girlfriend is said to have lived when she met Körber. At some point, fortunately, redemption came from the off for both men. "I think you're confusing him with me," one candidate solved the mystery. Körber was relieved: "And I thought there were completely new details."

As it turned out, Jauch had swapped the guests' information cards. "Great. It's also a premiere," he said after more than 20 years at WWM. "I compel him to tell her story." Apart from that, however, Körber did not have to be pushed into anything. Contrary to expectations, the poker fan was, by his own admission, suddenly very excited to have made it onto the hot seat. But his quick-wittedness didn't suffer. Two glasses of Kölsch may also have played a role.

After a question came out that in 2021 the number of SMS sent in Germany had risen again for the first time in years (the reason being the increasingly widespread two-factor authentication via text message), Körber addressed the viewers directly in the competition: "Write a SMS!" Jauch there was a suspicion. "The man is sawing on my chair," he suspected, but he also had to hold on: "My goodness, what kind of person are you?"

However, the candidate only got going there. When Jauch questioned the correct answer given by Körber's additional joker, that Uruguay and not Sri Lanka is completely below the Tropic of Cancer, the IT consultant interrupted him: "Stop it now. That's right!" Jauch waved it off: "Bring the man another half a barrel of beer so that he can calm down."

In fact, Körber made it as the second candidate in WWM's three-million-euro week to the 500,000-euro question. It was: Whose first band was called "Landsberg Barbarians"? The 32-year-old leaned heavily towards Elvis Presley and shared with viewers his inner monologue. "Balls or not? Do I have big enough balls now to take Elvis Presley? I have eggs, but are they big enough? So if I take B now and that's right, then I've got terrific balls."

At this point, Jauch could no longer refrain from rolling his eyes towards the studio ceiling, and probably not just because the candidate confused size with thickness here. With the conclusion "Then I probably have the biggest balls that have ever sat here on the chair" only pain-distorted closing of the eyes helped the moderator.

Luckily, Körber decided that even if you pinched your pants you can make yourself look thick and got out. When the correct answer "Johnny Cash" was announced, he immediately saw another reason to celebrate. Körber is now going into the final with a prize of over 125,000 euros alongside Robin Romahn from Monday's opening episode. The higher the initial profit, the better incentives Jauch promised for the fight for the record sum.

As the first candidate of the super week, Sarah Neugebauer from Berlin failed to qualify for the final, a minimum prize of 16,000 euros. The student, who would like to work at the United Nations, dropped to 500 euros because she had trusted the additional joker. The lady was good proof again why the request "only those who really know get up" is quite appropriate - even if Jauch considers it superfluous. Because the spectator immediately offered to help without really having a clue. She simply guessed, given the country's overall surge in popularity, that since 2014, Korean filmmakers had won the Best Director Oscar five times. Neugebauer logged it in despite the flimsy justification. In fact, however, the question had been asked about Mexico.

Overhang candidate Johann Widmann from Glonn would have been luckier with his additional joker. The lady only got up after nobody else wanted to give a tip. She was even correct in assuming that the starred restaurant "Le Jules Verne" is located in the Eiffel Tower. Widmann thought about it for a long time, but then preferred to get out with 64,000 euros so as not to jeopardize the entry into the final. The last candidate on Tuesday evening, Christoph Klöckner from Unterhaching, was only just able to save himself in the hot seat before the broadcasting time was up. So he returns on Wednesday, the last preliminary round during the €3 million week.
