Rostock (dpa / mv) - Second division football club FC Hansa Rostock can start the home game against SV Sandhausen on Friday evening (6.30 p.m. / Sky) with the team that convinced last weekend in a 3-0 win over Jahn Regensburg. "It's like last time. Simon Rhein and Lukas Scherff are fully involved in training. But we'll have to wait and see how they can cope with the overall load," said coach Jens Härtel on Wednesday. Rhein and Scherff were injured in the first three after four games in a row without a win.
After the strong performance in Regensburg, the Rostockers are confident in the game against the table penultimate. "When we're at 100 percent, we can beat anyone - especially at home. We know that the game has a double effect on the table," said Haertel. The Mecklenburgers are currently in twelfth place, four points ahead of the relegation places and could increase the gap with their fourth home win.
However, the Hansa coach expects a difficult task. "If a team knows how to fight relegation, it's Sandhausen. They don't have enough points for what they played," said the 53-year-old. "They are variable, have kept the axis and brought in good footballers."
