Lenschow (dpa / mv) - An 85-year-old woman died in a smoldering fire in a family home in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district on Saturday. According to the police, the fire broke out in the morning for an unknown reason, probably in the living room area of ​​the house in Lenschow/Herzberg. The entire house was badly sooted. The 85-year-old resident could not save herself in time and died in the house. The property damage was estimated at 250,000 euros. The police are investigating negligent arson.
