The prizes, which are associated with bonuses of 1500 euros, are awarded by the State Council for Crime Prevention and the State Sports Association MV.

The Neustrelitz team includes inmates from the closed prison, who practiced values such as discipline, reliability, tolerance and the reduction of prejudices with the supervisors in a training course lasting several weeks. The Neustrelitz Juvenile Institution also takes part in a nationwide initiative for the rehabilitation of young prisoners.

With the "Baltic Fighters" children, young people and adults from different backgrounds and cultures train in Rostock. Among other things, the ability to deal with conflict, self-control and mindfulness would be improved. Children pay contributions according to their age.
