Rostock (dpa/mv) - A 27-year-old man was stabbed and seriously injured in a violent confrontation in Rostock. According to initial investigations, the fight took place in the apartment of a 20-year-old neighbor in an apartment building in the Dierkow district. The older and the 20-year-old are said to have insulted each other on social media on Sunday, the police said. The 27-year-old, who lives in the same house, then went to the 20-year-old with a clothes rail in his hand.
After he opened the apartment door, the argument broke out, with the 27-year-old getting a stab in the stomach. The wife of the alleged stabber called the emergency services and the police, who are now investigating suspected bodily harm against both parties involved. The 27-year-old had been operated on in a clinic and was not in mortal danger.
