Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: more blood alcohol: alcohol driver goes police twice in the network

Neustrelitz (dpa/mv) - A drunk driver caught the police in Neustrelitz (Mecklenburg Lake District) twice in a short time on the same street. As a police spokesman said on Tuesday, the 51-year-old was stopped for the first time in the city shortly after midnight. A test revealed almost 1.2 parts per thousand breath alcohol. The officers took the man's driver's license, took him to have his blood drawn and instructed him to find someone to pick him up and leave the car.

An hour later, the 51-year-old approached the police officers a little further on federal highway 198 with his car, apparently a little drunk. Again the man from the region was stopped and this time 1.37 per mil alcohol was measured when blowing. "The colleagues then took the keys from him," said the spokesman. Now it is being investigated for double drunk driving and driving without a license.
