Teterow (dpa/mv) - Two men aged 24 and 34 were seriously injured in a traffic accident in Teterow (Rostock district) on Sunday morning. According to initial statements by witnesses, they were traveling at high speed in the middle of the street, so that an oncoming car had to avoid a crash, according to the Rostock police. After that, the driver of the speeding car obviously tried to countersteer and lost control. He went off the road and crashed into a tree.
First responders freed one of the men from the car, the other had to be rescued by the fire department because he was trapped. Both occupants were not wearing seat belts. They were given an alcohol test because the car smelled of alcohol.
