Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Pedestrian seriously injured in a car accident in Rostock

Rostock (dpa/mv) - A 38-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car while crossing the street in Rostock and was seriously injured. The accident happened on Thursday afternoon when the 69-year-old driver was turning the car, police said. The injured pedestrian was taken to a hospital. The road was temporarily closed to record the accident and rescue operations.
