Ludwigslust (dpa/mv) - Two police officers were slightly injured during an operation in a refugee accommodation in Ludwigslust (Ludwigslust-Parchim district). The incident happened on Sunday, police said on Monday. A 40-year-old, drunk man had previously rioted in the accommodation, it was said. The man behaved aggressively and insultingly towards the 26-year-old police officer and her 24-year-old colleague, and defied police requests and measures. According to the information, he had to be brought to the ground during the subsequent arrest. The officers sustained minor injuries during the arrest. They could no longer continue their service. The 40-year-old was taken into police custody. He was charged with resisting law enforcement officials, damaging property and insulting him.
