Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: Vintage truck on Usedom set on fire: the police are looking for witnesses

Usedom (dpa/mv) - A vintage truck is said to have been intentionally set on fire on the island of Usedom (West Pomerania-Greifswald). The police are now looking for witnesses. As a police spokeswoman said on Sunday, the fire on the vehicle was reported on Saturday evening. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames, but the driver's cab with a license plate from Cologne was badly damaged. Nobody got hurt. According to the police, the fire was caused by arson. The truck was parked at noon and was between the federal highway 110 and the old town of Usedom in the south of the island.
