Gard firefighters intervened to stop a traffic accident involving one vehicle on the departmental road 101 at Montfaucon's entrance on Saturday, June 4, around 2 a.m.
The vehicle rolled and ended up on its roof, three meters below the road. The vehicle was occupied by two victims, who were taken into custody.
A 20-year old man died despite the efforts of two ambulances and an extrication vehicle from the Smurd'Orange. A 17-year-old boy was also seriously injured. When he was taken to Nimes-Carremeau hospital, his vital prognosis was in jeopardy.
