"Most beautiful experience": Djamila Rowe raves about the TV jungle

After her triumph in the camp, jungle queen Djamila Rowe is a guest on "stern TV". After two brief spectator incidents, the 55-year-old can't stop raving about the Australian adventure. However, she probably cried more there than ever before.

After the jungle camp, Djamila Rowe can't switch off yet. The winner of the latest season's "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!" only landed back in Germany on the morning of February 1st and was already a guest live on "stern TV" on RTL that evening.

The show initially started out confusing for the TV audience and the jungle queen. First one and then a second man - apparently from the studio audience - stormed in front of the cameras. However, the whole thing was quickly and confidently stopped by moderator Steffen Hallaschka and employees. "They were cast now, right? (...) Are you serious now?" asked Rowe, who was probably just as confused by the situation as the viewers in front of the screens. "If anyone else needs proof, we're live," joked Hallaschka later.

After this brief incident, the moderator and the jungle queen were still able to talk undisturbed. "I was who I am - authentic. I didn't play," Rowe explained her secret of success. "Don't plan big at all, just do it. (...) I don't have to be loud to be seen." You had to think of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" cult candidate Menderes Bagci, who won the tenth season in 2016.

She signed up for "I'm a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!" a lot of "things from the heart and that felt good for me," says Rowe. She had probably "never cried as much as there in her whole life". At the same time, the show was a great experience for the 55-year-old: "The jungle camp was the best experience in my life for me."

As open and down-to-earth as Rowe had been in the TV jungle, she now spoke to Hallaschka about beauty procedures, among other things. She has hyaluronic acid in her lips and "again a bit exaggerated". Rowe is happy when it gets less again. "For me, one or the other has gotten a little out of hand." You're doing "nothing more in there for the time being".

Djamila Rowe had previously stated that she would continue to get her groceries from the discounter - despite her prize money of 100,000 euros. "I buy in the discount store, I'm a bargain hunter," she confirmed again. "I'm really not touching my prize money at first."
