Salzkotten (dpa / lnw) - On the grounds of a farm in Salzkotten in the Paderborn district, almost 2000 straw bales burned down on Friday night. According to the current state of investigation, fire investigators assume that the fire was intentionally set, the police said on Friday. There was damage of around 70,000 euros.
The fire brigade was able to prevent the flames from spreading to the stable next door, it said. A case of intentional arson was initiated. The police are looking for witnesses.
