North Rhine-Westphalia: 46-year-old killed with several stitches

Essen (dpa / lnw) - A 42-year-old is said to have killed a man with several stitches in a garage yard in Essen. The 46-year-old victim was discovered on Monday with very serious injuries. The man was taken to a hospital, but died there from the stab wounds, the police said on Thursday. The traces led the investigators to the 42-year-old Romanian, who was urgently suspected of stabbing his compatriot. The man known to the police was arrested very close to the scene of the crime and is now in custody. Exactly how the crime took place in the garage yard and what triggered it remained unclear to the investigators.
