North Rhine-Westphalia: 86-year-old man dies in a head-on collision

Bergisch Gladbach (dpa / lnw) - An 86-year-old driver in Bergisch Gladbach was fatally injured in a head-on collision with a van. The occupant of the van had serious injuries, but was not in mortal danger, the police said. Two occupants of another car that hit the van as a result of Thursday's collision suffered minor injuries. The 86-year-old senior died at the scene of the accident despite attempts to revive him.
