North Rhine-Westphalia: 87-year-old drives into a parked trailer and dies

Mönchengladbach (dpa / lnw) - An 87-year-old drove his car into a parked trailer in Mönchengladbach and died. The man crashed his car head-on into the trailer of the truck on Monday morning for an unknown reason in the Rheindahlen district, as a police spokesman said. The truck was properly parked on the hard shoulder. The man died in his car before paramedics arrived. According to police, the road was completely closed.
