Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - After an accident involving several trucks on the Autobahn 2 (Oberhausen-Hannover), drivers in the Ruhr area must expect traffic delays. According to the Dortmund police, the rescue work and the blocking of all three lanes should last until the evening. In the direction of Hanover, three trucks drove into each other at the end of a traffic jam in the morning between the Henrichenburg ramps and the Dortmund-Nordwest motorway junction (A45). One of the trucks drove into the guardrail, a tanker overturned, but was not damaged according to initial findings.
A driver was seriously injured. The cause of the accident was initially unclear. Several media had previously reported on the accident.
