North Rhine-Westphalia: cars collide head-on: five injured

Marl (dpa / lnw) - In a head-on collision between two cars in Marl (Recklinghausen district), five people were injured, including a small child and an infant. The two cars collided at an intersection on Sunday, police said. Two people were seriously injured and taken to hospitals. The two children, aged two years and one month, suffered minor injuries. The police estimate the damage at around 50,000 euros. It was initially unclear why the cars collided.
