North Rhine-Westphalia: Caught burglars injure a man with a knife

Cologne (dpa / lnw) - Two suspected burglars are said to have injured a 43-year-old in a Cologne apartment building with a knife. The suspects, aged 25 and 31, were arrested, police and prosecutors said on Wednesday. According to the information, the victim surprised the two men in the stairwell late Tuesday evening after hearing suspicious noises from there. The 43-year-old was taken to a hospital with stab wounds, which he was able to leave after outpatient treatment.
