Duisburg (dpa / lnw) - The Autobahn 3 will be closed next weekend in the Ruhr area in the direction of Cologne. During this time, new road surfaces will be installed in the area of the Duisburg-Kaiserberg motorway junction, according to Autobahn GmbH. Specifically, the A3 between the Oberhausen-West junction and the Kaiserberg junction will be closed from Friday, 8:00 p.m. to Monday, 5:00 a.m.
There are also restrictions in the other direction of travel: the connections from the A3 coming from Cologne to the A40 in the direction of Venlo and in the direction of Essen will be blocked.
Traffic in the direction of Cologne will be diverted from Kreuz Oberhausen-West to Kreuz Duisburg-Nord and from there to Kreuz Breitscheid. Anyone coming from Cologne via the A3 to the A40 will be directed from the Breitscheid junction via the A524 and the A59 to the Duisburg junction.
