Essen (dpa / lnw) - After a rainy midweek, it will be sunnier in North Rhine-Westphalia until the weekend. On Wednesday, however, it will initially be cloudy, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Essen. A few showers are also possible. The temperatures are a mild 14 to 17 degrees. During the night it loosens up partially, in some areas there are still showers to be expected. It cools down to 9 to 7 degrees.
On Thursday the sky will be cloudy at first, before clearing up later in the day. The maximum values are between 8 and 16 degrees. The night stays dry with temperatures between 9 and 6 degrees.
At the start of the weekend it will be mostly sunny and dry. According to meteorologists, the values will rise to 15 degrees on Friday and up to 16 degrees on Saturday.
