North Rhine-Westphalia: Five injured in a collision in Eschweiler

Eschweiler (dpa / lnw) - When two cars collided in Eschweiler, five people were injured - including two children. A 33-year-old woman collided with the car of an 84-year-old when turning for an initially unknown reason, the police said on Friday. The senior suffered life-threatening injuries in the accident on Thursday. The driver and the other three occupants of her car - including two children aged two and nine - suffered minor injuries. Everyone came to the hospital. The investigation into the background of the accident is ongoing.
