Essen (dpa/lnw) - People in North Rhine-Westphalia can look forward to a particularly warm October weekend. After it was initially very cloudy in the east of the country, it will become increasingly clear to cloudy from the west over the course of Friday, the German Weather Service (DWD) announced. Rain is not expected. According to the forecast, the temperatures are between 22 and 25 degrees with weak to moderate wind and at least 20 degrees on the Kahler Asten.
According to the DWD, the sun will continue to shine in North Rhine-Westphalia on Saturday in addition to a temporary passage of dense cloud fields. It stays dry at 20 to 24 degrees. There is also a weak wind, which can increase to moderate, sometimes gusty winds in the mountains. On Sunday it will therefore remain mostly clear; only towards evening do a few clouds appear in the west of the country. It remains rain-free again.
