Many new books come out in autumn. The literature fair Lit.Cologne Spezial therefore takes care of novelties and current topics. Bestselling author Charlotte Link will be there, Günter Wallraff will speak about investigative journalism.

Cologne (dpa/lnw) - The Lit.Cologne Spezial starts on Wednesday in Cologne (7.30 p.m.) with a reading by the successful author Ferdinand von Schirach. The literature festival presents book highlights of the autumn. In addition to the presentation of outstanding literary titles, according to the organizers, this year's program will also focus on current issues and discussions.

Günter Wallraff, who has just turned 80, talks about investigative journalism, bestselling author Charlotte Link comes with her new crime thriller. The American political scientist Francis Fukuyama presents his current book "Liberalism and its Enemies".

The issue of the Lit.Cologne Spezial lasts from October 5th to 9th and also has special dates on October 22nd and 24th. It takes place in the vicinity of the Frankfurt Book Fair. The literature fair Lit.Cologne is held in spring.
