Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - During the dismantling work at the Düsseldorf Rheinkirmes, a man fell from a ride. He was seriously injured in the accident on Tuesday, said a spokesman for the Düsseldorf police. Several emergency doctors took care of the man on the Oberkasseler Rheinwiesen. The seriously injured man was then flown to a hospital in Duisburg by helicopter.
In the afternoon, the police secured the scene of the accident, where the Rhine fair had taken place until last Sunday. It was initially unclear how far the man had fallen and which ride it was. A possible third-party debt is still being examined, the spokesman said.
